CTPTC carries out earthquake disaster prevention emergency evacuation drills
In order to effectively improve the company's employees' awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster prevention, improve emergency response and self-rescue and mutual rescue capabilities, enable all employees to master the correct emergency earthquake avoidance methods, and be familiar with the procedures and routes of emergency evacuation, to ensure that when disasters come, they can evacuate quickly, orderly and efficiently, and protect the lives of all employees to the maximum extent. At 15:10 on October 12, China-Techpart Precision Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as CTPTC) organized all employees to carry out earthquake disaster prevention emergency evacuation drills.
At 15:10, the emergency evacuation drill officially kicked off. After the "earthquake alarm" was issued, employees immediately stopped working, quickly squatted, held their heads with both hands, moved quickly, and found a safe "triangle area" for shelter and avoidance. After the "earthquake alarm" was lifted, the heads of each department quickly and orderly organized the rapid and safe evacuation of their employees. The employees protected their heads with both hands to lower their center of gravity and quickly evacuated to the open and flat square according to the designated route. After the evacuation was completed, each department head counted the number of people in his department and reported to the on-site commander of the drill the number of people who should and actually attended each department to ensure that no employee was missed. The earthquake drill took 2 minutes and 15 seconds from the alarm to the evacuation of all employees to a safe place.
After the drill, our company's sales manager summarized the drill. He pointed out that although the drill achieved the expected results and improved employees' awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, there were also some problems. Some employees had weak safety awareness and did not take the drill seriously; they did not have a solid grasp of earthquake emergency risk avoidance knowledge, and some people's evacuation actions were not standardized, failing to effectively protect their bodies and heads; they were not proficient in emergency plans, and reacted slowly at critical moments, affecting the efficiency of the drill.
Preparing for a rainy day and preventing problems before they happen are the eternal cornerstones of safety management. Safety drills are a comprehensive inspection of the company's safety work and a profound education for employees' safety awareness. In this earthquake disaster prevention and emergency evacuation drill, all employees not only consolidated their earthquake prevention and risk avoidance knowledge and enhanced their protection and self-rescue capabilities, but also improved our company's handling and protection capabilities in response to emergencies. In the future, CTPTC will continue to carry out irregular and normalized emergency drills to build a solid safety line, prevent safety hazards, and make unremitting efforts to build a safe and harmonious working environment.
