Characteristics and Advantages of Stamped Bearing Housing

Wear is a common phenomenon in the use of stamped bearing housing. As a common problem with bearing housing, the traditional method usually adopts repair through surfacing and machining after welding. However, surfacing can cause the component to reach a very low temperature, resulting in deformation or cracking of the component, and machining to obtain the desired dimensions can cause delays in downtime. On the other hand, using high polymer composite materials for on-site repair has no thermal impact, and the repair thickness is not limited, saving a significant amount of downtime for the company.

Stamped bearing housing has the characteristics of good gloss, no elongation marks, and no burrs. Stamped bearing housing consists of a housing, bearings installed inside the housing, labyrinth seals, and external sealing rings. The outer end of the inner sealing ring corresponds to the large end face of the housing and has a circular water-resistant and dust-proof cover. There is a labyrinth gap in the seal at the cover. By eliminating the protective cover in the original structure, the stamped bearing housing not only has a simple structure and fewer parts but also reduces the material used in the housing, reducing manufacturing costs. At the same time, by extending the labyrinth gap and length, the sealing effect is improved, and the service life of the roller is extended. The good sealing performance of the roller bearing housing requires strict quality control of the components, determining the structural and sealing properties of the components, to ensure that the roller bearing housing has excellent sealing performance.
